Be yourself, everyone else is taken.

Hello everyone!

As every aspiring photographer , I too compared myself and my skills to every newborn photographer out there. I didn’t realize the importance in embracing the photographer you are! Learn from each session and practice, practice, practice. With each session I had, I grew. I learned more and took what I learned to the next session. It sometimes felt like a long road, but in the end, it is so amazing to watch yourself grow. As I was looking for old newborn images for this post, I first found it hard and painful. The longer I looked at my old images, the happier I became! I remember each one of my sessions and remember the excitement I felt for each and every one.! And excited for what I learned during that session. Every new session I was excited to learn something new, and seeing all these pictures makes me realize how far I’ve come.

Thank you to all of my clients, friends and family for supporting me in this journey! I can not be more proud of where I am today! The first newborn listed here is my daughter Eva. I’ve come a long way, but that image of my daughter will always be beautiful and special to me.

To fellow photographers, embrace and be proud of each and every image you take! Stop comparing yourself to other photographers. Be yourself!

Connie - I am so glad you trusted in your heart and followed your passion. You are a fantastic photographer and it shows. All the classes you have take, the work shops you have been too, and commitment to ongoing learning and striving to be the best. It shows! The long hours you spend searching for the most unique and fitting props, dispersing of the old ones for new and different. All images are so unique:) Then the insanely long hours editing away day and night, all while you are still a Mom. Your work is beautiful as are you! Continue doing what you love, it shows through your work! There is no one alive that is youer than you.ReplyCancel
